AC System?

Hi Birches Neighbors,

I’m looking for ideas and recommendations about air conditioning.

I have the original ac system from 1987 when the house was built and it’s seems to be working fine.

However, First Fuel, told me I should update my system and get something more up-to-date, energy efficiency, etc. They are telling me parts aren’t available for what I have, and I need to change over the whole house to propane.

I would like to know:

What kind of ac system are you, my neighbors using?

bears!

My son and i saw a mother bear and a teenage bear in front of 95 Julianna last night at 6pm.

they were eating or trying to eat from a garbage dumpster they had turned over.

we walked away quickly and carefully. the bears turned away.

600 pounds maybe for the larger bear and 200 lb for the smaller bear?

both black bears as i don't think we have brown bears in NY state.

Thoughts: maybe all dumpsters should be required to be in Bear-Proof containers?

Herrington's Truck

Yesterday at about 4 pm , I was almost hit by one of Herrington's trucks as I was walking my dog who was on a leash. if I hadn't jumped into the weeds with my dog, it could of been a horrible accident. It has gotten very scary and these trucks can injury or kill someone - a child - our pets.

I then sent an email to Herrington's and Rich Herrington called me to discuss in more detail. It seems they have monitors in all the trucks to track them for speeding, etc. and they would look into what happened. And take the appropriate steps.

I urge anyone using any vendor to remind them to SLOW down. As well we all need to SLOW down please.
